Friday's Five Films: December 8, 2023
Two new retrospectives at the Lightbox: centered around Ernst Lubitsch and 70mm prints.
Welcome to another edition of Friday’s Five Films! Sorry that this came out a little bit late within the day, but I may have gotten a little bit carried away with the listicle I published earlier about the stuff that I saw all throughout November for my first time - and this time around, I figured I’ll just go ahead and opt for something a bit quicker. So let’s get right into it, these are Friday’s Five Films.
For this week’s edition of Friday’s Five Films, I ended up catching all of these films theatrically - and I just felt like all these films offer at least something worth talking about in some way or another. But they’re all just great films, period.
By the way, there’s a bit more than you can expect if you follow me on Letterboxd. If you’re not already following me there, click the button down below.
